January 11, 2016The Colors on Parade Fall Area Developer Conference was held at the Breakers Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC last week. 42 area developers from across the United States were in attendance, and the conference was a major success.
The Colors on Parade family had a great time catching up, sharing best practices and learning from one another. In order to better support local franchisees, Area Developers focused on business development, operations and sales techniques. In addition, all attendees completed their spray efficiency recertification!
A large portion of the conference focused on sales and marketing. This included system growth, retail consumers and wholesale accounts. Year to date, Colors on Parade has obtained 3 new area developers, 3 new area managers, 30 franchisees and one international partner. Overall systems sales are much higher than last year and growth is expected to continue through the last quarter.
The brand exposure for Colors on Parade has dramatically increased, with over 10,000 Facebook Fans and thousands of media impressions as well as unique website visits. The Colors on Parade brand is one of the strongest reconditioning companies nationwide. Due to our wide reach, we have been able to make progress on networking through large dealership groups and offering national preferred vendor programs. Within these dealerships, the consumer is changing. Colors on Parade is positioning itself as a vendor partner that can help the dealership connect with this new consumer.
One of the biggest benefits of a franchise system is the group of people in the system. Getting together twice a year to share ideas, network and train allows individuals and the system to progress. Our family of talented business people and skilled technicians is more valuable than any other opportunity out there. Learning together allows us to best meet the needs of our consumers. We are already looking forward to March when our focus will be technical advancement and master vendor offerings.
