Colors on Parade Motorcycle Fix-Ups at Lakewood Camping Resort Bike Rally
May 14, 2014This April, Colors on Parade attended the Multi-Unit Franchising Show in Las Vegas for the fourth year in a row. Colors on Parade was in great company at the conference among 250 other franchises from all over the world including Dunkin’ Donuts, Jersey Mikes and Massage Envy. The following members of Colors on Parade were in attendance at this year’s show:
- Jeff Cox, President at Colors on Parade
- Claire Garstka, Director of Sales and Marketing at Colors on Parade
- John Ward, Director Of Franchise Development at Colors on Parade
- Aaron Sills, South Fla., Area Developer
- Bobby Chace, Columbia, S.C. Area Developer
- Josh Baxley, Birmingham, Ala. Area Developer
- Mark and Kathy Plomaritis, Orange County, Calif. Area Developers
As Colors on Parade continues to grow in 2014, this year’s conference theme was the perfect fit for Colors on Parade – the focus of the conference was “Planning for Growth.” Attendance at the show this year was a success. Not only did the Colors on Parade team have the opportunity to network with other multi-unit franchises with similar interests and challenges, but we also met more than twelve prospective franchisees.
President of the Colors on Parade Franchise Advisory Committee, Aaron Sills, represented the company for the fourth year as a highlighted speaker at the show. Sills conducted two different sessions entitled “Relationships Track: Understanding Your FDD & Franchise Agreement” with Subway owner, Keith Miller, and “Growth Track: Outsourcing – Why, When, What, and How?” with Dan Burrell, Area Developer of Jersey Mike’s.
Colors on Parade team also attended a keynote address from Dr. John C. Maxwell of The Leadership Authority. Maxwell is an internationally known leadership expert, coach, and author. Every year Maxwell speaks to Fortune 500 and 100 companies, international government leaders, and organizations such as the United States Military Academy about teamwork, leadership and achieving success.
In addition, we were asked to participate as speakers in two upcoming Multi-Franchise Unit shows, one on Marketing in June and the other on Franchising Development in October 2014.
